The non-profit prosthetic center in Bolivia that we support, FUNPROBO, would like to pay for the final year of their prosthetist (Bismark) in the Don Bosco Guatemala prosthetic program to become a certified prosthetist. This is a 3-year program and after graduation, he has committed to continue to work at FUNPROBO for years to come. Bismark does have about 5 years of experience working under the current experienced prosthetist, and he is showing great potential and interest in this field. This will allow FUNPROBO to help even more low-income Bolivian amputees.
This is a two-year program and the budgeted cost is $3,000 for the final semester. The next enrollment period is January 20,27 and classes start in March.
